EAGLE XG® is a glass composition for the first active LCD glass substrates. While retaining the high quality of previous compositions, it is the first to be without any heavy metals, such as arsenic (As), stibium (Sb) and barium (Ba), and halogen compounds, such as chlorine and fluorine, which are potential hazardous substances.

EAGLE XG® Slim glass substrates is a 0.3 mm - 0.5mm deep eco-friendly product. Thin and light it contributes to the user’s experience. Samsung Corning Precision Materials contributes to the streamlining of large products as well as mobile products by providing thin and pristine glass substrates.

If the LCD TV module thickness is reduced by 3.0mm, a reduction from 0.7mm to 0.5mm in the substrate leads
to a 10% reduction of the module.
